Autumnal Mountain Wedding Vibes with Fun Alternative Pizza Cutting

Morgan and Erik met at a small, local market that served prepared foods in Washington DC. Erik made pizza and Morgan made sandwiches... which is the cutest story behind this couple's alternative cake cutting where they cut a handmade pizza in lieu of a cake during their fall wedding reception at Montfair Resort in Crozet, Virginia. Because of their love of Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains, they knew they would have the best rustic wedding surrounded by nature on "neutral ground" away from their home states of Iowa and New Jersey.

With a color palette of beautiful jewel tones like mustard yellow, russet orange, and sage green, Morgan and Erik celebrated with their closest loved ones in cozy chic style. Photographed by Danielle Canady Photography, vintage plates, copper flatware, and crimson red knotted napkins decorated their guests tables while wooden textures and tones warmed up the wedding ceremony.
