With Andrew's former Commander performing the ceremony and handsome airplane cuff links to represent his being a pilot, this couple wanted to make sure their life in the military played an important part on the wedding day. When paired with the whites, greenery, and pinks, the navy blue dress blues and groomsmen tuxedos were perfectly in line for classic style! Katie's beautiful deep v-neck fitted wedding gown with shimmering beading wasn't originally what she envisioned for herself as a little girl, but when her Mom saw a different kind of dress on a mannequin at Blush Bridal, it was heralded as "the one." And of course, it ended up being perfectly complemented to Andrew's ceremonial attire!
Photographed by Virginia Wedding Company and coordinated by Kara Morgan Weddings, Katie shared that one of her favorite wedding moments were writing their vows that they kept a secret from each other until that moment of sharing them. Not only did they each share their relationship challenges such as long-distance dating across the country and deployments, they both mentioned the beautiful symbolism of bridges and how they would cross each bridge together.
