Pip pip hooray! This Citrus-Inspired Richmond Wedding is Sweet and Colorful

Where do we even begin with all the fun citrus puns out there?! April and Steven's colorful "Orange You Glad You Came?" seating chart wins for most on theme for sure, so we'll let that set the tone for this modern wedding as this couple was surrounded by all the cheerful hues of oranges, lemons, and limes for their wedding reception at the The Boathouse at Sunday Park in Richmond, Virginia.

From elegant orange-inspired wedding invitations to lemon slices decorating the cake to citrus fruit within the table centerpieces by Mary Ann Blooms to mini key lime pies, you can't help but smile as you take in all of the summery details. Even their fresh signature cocktail was an Orange Crush named after their beloved pup, Duggan. (Duggan wasn't able to be there on the day of, but don't worry, he was at doggy camp celebrating his birthday and living it up with his furry friends!)

Photographed by Kylie Hinson Photography, we absolutely loved that April and Steven chose emerald green in their color palette to help tie the shades of citrus together as seen in the bridesmaid dresses, foliage decor, and groomsmen's neckties. It made all of the vibrant colors pop even more! If this wedding isn't sunshine personified, then we don't know what is!
