In preparation for their special day, they practically decided not to send out invitations in case of an unexpected reschedule, but made sure their family and friends were completely spoiled on the day-of with personal touches like custom crossword puzzles to celebrate their love of trivia, "Virginia is for Lovers" cocktail napkins, and even epic photo moments with Seven Springs' adorable heritage Hog Island sheep! Ann-Marie and Kyle also wanted to make sure their guests felt comfortable amidst pandemic times, and so with the help of the professional wedding team, they ensured well-spaced out seating and tables in their open air reception area. We loved how they found ways to make things special, yet safe!

When reminiscing about their special day, Ann-Marie recalled, "We like to think that somehow our COVID wedding turned out to be even more "us" than our original plan: intimate and historic. In the end, we were married in the oldest Catholic Church in Richmond and had a fabulous and laid back reception at a classic and colonial Virginia estate. It's hard to imagine a more perfect day for a couple of Virginia lawyers."
