A Winter Wonderland Wedding with a Bit of Twinkle Magic

After a chance meeting in college that ended with Amelia and Jon talking through the night, both thought they would never see each other again... that is until a Facebook message sparked another conversation that then years later led to a wedding that winter dreams are made of! Jon and Amelia were drawn to a romantic industrial style for their special day and knew that The Inn at the Old Silk Mill in Fredericksburg, Virginia, would provide the perfect backdrop for their cold weather wedding. Thanks to the planning expertise of One Sweet Day in May, the stage was set for a classic color palette of blacks, whites, and pops of reds that have us singing carols all the way through.

We are convinced that every wedding party should don pashminas just like the ones Amelia's bridesmaids wore when the temperatures dropped and storms threatened to break. Bright, twinkling lights decorated the hall beautifully for a sparkling reception with Carley Rehberg Photography capturing every detail through her lens. With a love that could warm any room and a story that is almost too good to be true, Jon and Amelia's celebration will keep us feeling cozy all winter long.
