Fine Art Love and Vintage Bicycles

With azaleas in full bloom, Adriana and Jason celebrated their engagement at and around the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia. As a surprise gift to his future wife, Jason the groom-to-be and engineer extraordinaire completely refurbished a vintage yellow bicycle from scraps and parts true to its retro era. He spent months on the project and made sure to hide all the wires and mechanics for the brakes so it wouldn't take away from the overall timeless look. When it came time for their engagement session with Sarah Duke Photography, Adriana knew she wanted to include it in their spring-infused portraits.

Surrounded by diverse architecture and the beauty of historical backdrops, the happy couple ventured around the scenic spots with their yellow bike in tow. Adriana's gorgeous gauzy white dress paired perfectly with Jason's sage green pants and brown loafers while their session sparkle came through playful smiles and one fabulous rose gold halo diamond engagement ring.
