Since Michelle and Ben originally had a fall wedding, style ideas of the complete opposite were envisioned: a pastel palette of pink, blue, and green, garden ceremony, and casual beachfront reception with family-style dining. Being quite talented in the arts and the wedding industry, Michelle wanted to infuse personal touches where she could. She created a gorgeous watercolor illustration for the stationery, an acrylic tribute box for those who were no longer with them, and even seaglass place cards with every guest's name lovingly written on them (that was then turned into home decor after the event!).
Photographed by Stephanie Messick Photography and coordinated by The Posey Detail, we fell in love with the personal touches as well as all the pastel detail prettiness. King protea-filled bouquets, a flowy pale pink chiffon dress, the tiny blue bow tie worn by the couple's son, and the long wooden farm table beneath bistro lights on the sand are just some things to swoon over and be inspired by.
Special Editor's Note: We were honored to also share their love story in the Tidewater and Tulle Journal Spring 2018 issue. Take a peek at their special day in print, too!
