One of the bride's favorite moments that she shared was: "My dad walked me down the aisle, but when he went to go sit down, he forgot that I had a cathedral length veil and proceeded to trip over it. My mom kept exclaiming, 'Greg! Greg! The veil!!' And I just kept leaning over to the side so my hair didn't get messed up. It was awesome comic relief at the moment since my sister (who was also my maid of honor), William, and I were all about to start crying... but not when my dad gave us all some laughs!"
Captured by Wolfcrest Photography, we immediately fell in love with the giant wreaths of greenery that made the whole celebration take on the warmth of the wintry season. A rustic American flag hung over the mantle during their ceremony symbolized Caroline and William's current Navy life, a sweet military hat station was made for guests to hang their hats in a place of honor, and a donut-inspired wedding cake (that had an allergy-free vanilla layer!) was placed in front of the flag for a chic sword cake cutting. It was a beautiful way to tie in military traditions with their loved ones!
