One of Casey's favorite memories was their first look underneath golden chandeliers away from excitedly curious eyes. It was a private moment just for the two of them, and she shared it best in her own words:
It was kind of like the calm before the storm -- just us in the room getting to see each other and let the emotions come out. It was a powerful moment to lay eyes on your "soon to be spouse" for the rest of your life.
With high and low floral centerpieces filled with roses and greenery, a 4-tiered carrot cake with minimalistic texture in its vanilla icing, and a fabulous green trolley to transport the wedding party around town, Brian and Casey's wedding was a perfect dream for them not only in design but in positivity as well.
Don't sweat the small stuff! I was told that I was surprisingly calm throughout the entire day, and I am so glad that I had that mindset. I had so much fun not worrying about the timeline, the guests, the vendors, et cetera. Let the wedding planner do her job; it is your day! Nothing is going to be absolutely perfect, but at the end of the day, no one notices if something is messed up. Having all of your favorite people in one room is what you'll remember. Make sure you stop and recognize that special thought at some point throughout the night; it will make you feel extremely blessed.
