Colorful Heritage-Inspired Wedding Fiesta

Inspired by family heritage, a love of nature, and simplicity, Jessica and Salvatore envisioned their perfect intimate wedding surrounded by vibrant color and meaningful details. Mix the bride's Mexican heritage with the historic significance of Seven Springs in Virginia, and you have a beautiful tribute to the past and present. From the DIY sugar skull hand fans to the personalized maracas for guests to shake to get the couple to kiss to the Mexican De La Rosa candies that represented Jessica's grandmother's maiden name, we are completely smitten with the heart behind their special day.

Captured by Awesomesauce Photography, Jessica and Salvatore wove Roman Catholic traditions into their ceremony like the lazo to symbolize the couple's unity and modern trends into their reception like the cutest mini silver piñatas ever that served as their unique guest book alternative. In lieu of a cake, they shared sweet red strawberries as their guests laughed and shared a meal and memories underneath bistro lights and the stars. It goes without saying that this fiesta was one for the books for these lovebirds!
