English Garden Inspired Wedding with Prosecco Bar

With office branches in both the United States and United Kingdom, Katy and Joe met by chance when her company stationed her at a desk across from her future husband on a trip across the pond. Less than two years later, Joe proposed on the front porch of their shared home back in the States, and they began planning a celebration that would pay homage to both their homes, England and Coastal Virginia. Rather than choose iconic red telephone booths and British flags, their waterside wedding was instead themed around the place they most loved to spend time when in England – in Joe's mother’s garden, music playing in the background, and a glass of Prosecco in hand.

Captured by Kelley Stinson Photography and coordinated by Carolyn Celeste Weddings, Katy and Joe's wedding had a glorious scenic view and a reception space made elegant by gold and white decor. Details we love? Adorable signs quoting music references (can we please talk about the "Let's Get Fizzical" for the Prosecco Bar?!), a traditional English Victoria sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream for their wedding cake, classic rock band playing all the British and American hits, and the abundance of white flowers that completed the garden theme.
