Intimate Southern Brunch Inspired Wedding

Sometimes for a couple, their story begins with 'love at first sight.' For Anthony and Emily, it took years before they realized there was something more. Though they first met in middle school and later attended prom together, it was only after high school graduation that they became more than friends.

Our favorite elements of this cozy chic backyard-themed wedding at the Woman's Club of Portsmouth have to be the adorable basket of goodies baked with love by Emily's mom and the crossword puzzle given to each guest. Because they wanted to keep it close-knit and small, the bride and groom chose not to have a wedding party and instead wanted the focus to be on the delicious brunch reception with their closest family and friends. And Leigh Skaggs Photography sure did beautifully showcase each unique yummy detail of Anthony and Emily's special day! Hello, fried chicken and waffles!
