Navy Blue and Pink Nags Head Wedding

Whether she is coordinating one or decoding clues herself, Lauren adores scavenger hunts. Knowing her love for the hunt, Andrew planned a clue-filled day that left Lauren completely thrown off-course when she received a champagne saber... and not an engagement ring. That night, Lauren and Andrew parted ways to get ready for a celebratory dinner, and upon her return to his apartment, silver and gold streamers, candles, and a room full of balloons greeted her. After taking in all the romantic details, she noticed Andrew was down on one knee to pop the question!

For their wedding day, deciding a location was by far the easiest decision they made. While both Lauren and Andrew reside in Ohio, the sun-kissed sand and salty sea of Nags Head, North Carolina drew them in just like a ton of Hampton Roads couples every year. What they wanted most for their wedding was to bring together all the people they love and throw an amazing party in celebration of just that!

Despite that they both wanted a traditional, church ceremony, they chose Nags Head Golf Links for their venue because of their love for the town and view of the serene Albemarle Sound. Tying in the areas of the Outer Banks, tables were named after each locale and included a short, sweet description to familiarize their out-of-town wedding guests with the local history. And we all know local history wins our heart every time!
