But their actual engagement story is a pretty special one as Dan is in the Navy, which obviously offers him some unique international opportunities, especially when it comes to spoiling his girlfriend-turned-fiancée. During his recent deployment to Rota, Spain, it was there he decided to plan the proposal of a lifetime... and make it happen! Throughout the planning process, he made sure both his and Lindsay's parents were in Rota at the same time, and when Lindsay made it across the pond, pop! goes the question.
We can all agree that's a pretty great way to get engaged. ¡Hurra!
