In a color palette of navy blue, burgundy wine, and gold, handmade details sparkled like their hand-lettered chalkboard signs and all the gorgeous florals arranged by Amanda and Colby's family. But the most important detail was wrapped around Amanda's bouquet. Her mom may not have been able to walk her daughter down the aisle, but in heart and in spirit, she still was there as her ashes were encased in the most beautiful golden heart locket that Amanda held closely to her. If that's not the most perfect way to honor and include a loved one, then we don't know what is. Between the sweet locket with angel wings and the groom's response when he saw his future wife for the first time, there was not a dry eye at the wedding (or even with us as we share this story with you!).
