Quirky Kelly Green Converse-Themed Wedding

One evening at City Center in Newport News, MJ and Kelly went on a date as they had many times before in the past, but this evening was even more special than the rest. With a clever nod to his future wife's name, MJ surprised Kelly with a kelly green ukulele that he'd taught himself to play just for the occasion. He sang "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story. And as if that weren't enough for our Disney-lovin' hearts, at the last line of the song ("You've got a friend in me...") became "Kelly, will you marry me?" And the rest is history.

Captured by Homeworks Video Productions and coordinated by Mann and Wife, Kelly and MJ had the most perfect day for a wedding in Smithfield. With a theme like kelly green Converse shoes with navy blues and chalkboard blacks, you know it was a light-hearted and joy-filled day to remember!

Before the ceremony, they opted for a first look at Windsor Castle Park and exchanged notes right before walking down the aisle as a nostalgic tribute to when they worked together at a local restaurant and left notes on each other's cars when they got off of work.

Between the geeky peek of Legos "under" the wedding cake's white fondant to the chalkboard-inspired stationery to the matching Converse shoes, this sweet quirky wedding was perfectly full of the happy couple's personalities! You definitely can't help but feel the happy fun!
