Walking Around Downtown Norfolk Engagement Session

Two years ago by happenstance, Alayna and Zak met at a conference. After just meeting her that day, Zak spared no time and immediately asked her out to dinner, and the rest was history! It has been a long distance journey across the country for these two lovebirds. From Virginia to Princeton to Texas and back to Virginia again, it goes without saying that they are stoked to finally be able to live together in the same city!

Captured by Lauren Simmons Photography, Alayna and Zak wanted a unique, non-city backdrop for their engagement session. The diversity of Norfolk's downtown neighborhoods filled with historic row houses and waterfront sunsets appealed to them in so many ways! And with good reason, it's gorgeous! So they met on the corner of West Freemason Street and Botetourt Street for a casual walk-about Downtown to share smiles and create some fun memories with each other.
