Known for bright, playful summer fun, Virginia Beach radiates cheer. Between the peppy umbrellas, beach cruisers, and pastel salt water taffy, the Boardwalk speaks and lives of a time past and present. You can't turn a corner and not find a brightly colored sign or building. And while most locals avoid the Oceanfront from May to September due to the huge influx of traffic and visitors, we still head down there anyway for the summer concerts, festivals, and good times.
